Preserving

I opened up the freezer and discovered this...


a bowlful of snow.

I guess the girls thought they wouldn't be seeing any more snow for awhile. Unfortunately...it has only just begun.

My dad tells a story from his childhood of an early summer storm that left snow in this covered creek area. The family was really excited and made ice cream for days after that. :-)

On a side note:
I remember opening your freezer and finding a jar with a bee in it. Your freezer is definitely an interesting place. :-)
