I'm still alive!

It has been a rollercoaster week and a half, but I'm here to say that we're still alive, and the home buying/selling process is moving along nicely.

We have spent the last week like chickens with our heads cut off trying to get our house ready to sell.  We had the photographer come by today, and with a few final projects this weekend, our house will be on the market by Monday or Tuesday of next week, and then the fun begins.

In the meantime, while doing the completely un-fun things like packing and cleaning, I keep dreaming about this:

Yup, that will be our new backyard...this doesn't even do the .5 acre lot justice.  This is actually only a quarter of the backyard, and technically, I really shouldn't have taken this picture at the inspection this last week because it's still not technically ours, but this next picture was perfectly legal:

Isn't it cute?  All of the charm of a beach-style cape-cod home, with the completely updated inside.  I'll take pictures as soon as it is legally ours.  Until then, anyone want to buy our house?

Holy cow! I would live in a hut to have that backyard. Beautiful! Congrats!
